Sine Wave Offline UPS The sine wave off line ups incorporates the state of the art micro controller based design offering higher reliability, design protection and versatility at lower cost. The UPS uses the standard full bridge design with MOSFETS and Sine PWM switching at high frequency, which is commonly used in true on line UPSs. The system has built in CC/CV battery charger, wide range AVR, synchronized load transfer and PC interface.The system has built in protection against short circuits, over load, battery low etc and has a soft start feature during cold start to prevent heavy taxing on the devices and the battery. The system also has a no load shut down feature to save the battery in case the system is left on without any load.The PC interface provides facility for continuous monitoring of the UPS/ mains status and parameters such as the mains voltage, output voltage, load current, battery voltage etc. The interface uses the standard RS232 port for communication. |
